How do sleep and recovery show in a fitness app?
Sleep and recovery can appear inside the daily score on Home when you allow Apple Health. PerformancePal reads what you permit and places it next to strain and the workout you logged. It is a wellness view of the day. It is not a sleep study and not a diagnosis.
What do you need to connect for sleep?
Nothing is required. Apple Health access is optional and asks for your permission. If you skip it, you can still log workouts, meals, habits, water, and notes.
How should you read recovery?
Use it as context for the day, next to the score and the work you planned. It does not tell you that you are overtrained, ill, or ready for a specific session.
Is sleep tracking in the app medical advice?
No. PerformancePal is general wellness software from BETTER PRACTICE LLC. It does not diagnose sleep disorders or replace a clinician. Support: performancepal.support@gmail.com.
Does the app write sleep data back to Apple Health?
The app reads the Health data you allow so the day can show sleep and recovery. Connecting is your choice and you can decline.
What sits next to sleep on Home?
Strain, recovery, the daily score, logged training, and calories or steps when those are available.
A sleep tracker here shows sleep and recovery on the daily fitness score when you allow Apple Health. Strain and the step counter can sit beside that sleep data. The connection is optional.
You can still use the calorie counter, macro tracker, meal planner, workout planner, habit tracker, and workout history with no sleep tracker data. PerformancePal is a fitness app, not a sleep study.
It does not diagnose sleep problems. Not affiliated with Apple. Not medical advice. Operated by BETTER PRACTICE LLC.
